The BnB was well located just inside the city walls, perched on the edge presenting wonderful views of the hilly countryside. It was small — 3 rooms - and comfortable with a delightful if small garden. We enjoyed an evening ritual wine sipping at a garden table that overlooked that view. Andrea and his father are very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The pool is beautiful and very well maintained. We enjoyed using the barbeque as well. Overall the hotel is very clean, in very good condition. We also enjoyed renting mountain bikes one day from the hotel and discovering the local hills. The hotel/restaurant is located in the center of a medieval village that sits atop a hill with a medieval castle standing guard . The rooms of the hotel were very comfortable, clean and spacious. You are treated like royalty by the owner and her staff. And the restaurant, some of the best food in Tuscany with wonderful ambiance.
