A oasis of relaxation in which one can enjoy the 17th century traditional architecture, the modern facilities, the large swimming pool, the wide and well maintained garden. We liked the spacious apartment - it was clean and the kitchen was equipped well, appreciated the balcony and the huge terrace. We stayed during off-season, so the whole village was rather empty, which we liked (less noise, no parties, only locals), but during high season it must be bustling and pulsing. Car is an absolute must - parking is possible in the street. Two bedrooms with blinds is a plus, and we really liked the great photo book about Puglia in the living room. TV - we didn't use, WiFi was strong. Clean linen and towels, garbage is sparated which I appreciate very much. There is a coffee machine with a few capsules but... well, I like my coffee from an italian espresso machine (which we didn't have). But that's not a big deal, you can buy coffee in the cafes. The host (Giuseppe) is very connected and will help you with your questions. In general a very good place to stay for a reasonable price.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Nido del Mar. The apartment is cozy & comfortable, the sea is a few steps away, but most of all, the hosts go above & beyond for you at every step of your journey. The apartment is nicely furnished, clean, has a kitchen and all the amenities you might need on vacation. The bed is comfortable (I don't easily say this, I am spoiled when it comes to beds) and the AC is there for those hot summer days. The location is a few meters from a beautiful beach and next to restaurants, bars and small squares where sometimes events happen in the evenings. We had a couple of small concerts during our one week stay, which were a nice addition to break the routine. It's a perfect location if you want to be close to the water, and have an option to go for a stroll along the beach in the evening ending in an aperitivo or a pizza. The music from nearby bars or events can be heard to the apartment on the weekends, but they always stop at a reasonable hour. The best thing about our stay though were the people. The hosts went above and beyond. They helped us arrange a rental car and always made sure we had everything we needed. The neighours are very pleasant as well. We quickly got into conversations with some of them, creating a comfortable, friendly vibe around this special little village. All in all, you can't really miss with Nido del Mar. It's a perfect spot to experience Puglia.

    A very friendly and charming village by the seaside. You have everything you need: a wonderful beach, places to enjoy morning coffee by the sea, and grocery stores. We are a family with a 5-year-old girl, and the area is extremely safe and welcoming. The people here are very kind, always smiling and greeting us with warmth.

    There are cute little rocky beaches, a few restaurants, and basic facilities like supermarkets. Nothing too fancy but the hospitality of the Casalabate people will warm your heart. Tip: visit the old lady who owns the white/blue fruit/veg stand!

    There is absolutely nothing to do in the whole local area.

    There is absolutely nothing to do in the whole local area. Shops and bars (apart from the ubiquitous Salvatore's, a small, simple restaurant with bar and general shop ) are totally non existent. The local area is like a ghost town, a total wilderness. Nightlife (or day life) non existent. Where is anybody/anything ? Fortunately Lecce is only 20 minutes away by car.

    The apartment was very convenient, clean and well equipped. The owner was very kind at the time of arrival, and she also recommended good local restaurant, store, beach etc. There is a beautiful view from the apartment to the sea, just like on the pictures. There are several famous Puglian locations (Gallipoli, Otranto, Lecce etc.) from 1 hour drive from Casalabate, so its a great location to stay of you want to discover this area.

    The hotel had a lovely pool and bar, good food at the restaurant at night. Beach access across the road with nice clear water. We visited just after the summer rush so there was no issues getting sunbeds. Staff were generally helpful across a variety of interactions at reception/bar/cleaners. Our room had sea views and a nice terrace.

    The apartment is located next to the beach and the boulevard of Casalabate. There are restaurants, cafe's, ice cream shops and a supermarket in the area. Big plus of the appartement are the free bikes, so you can easily move in the area. Another handy facility are the outdoor showers to dust of that beach sand.
