Arbus is a pleasant city to stay in as a base for trips to the beaches on the west side of Sardinia, specifically Scivu and Piscinas. Unfortunately, the drive there is pretty long and challenging. In addition, despite beaches being long and picturesque, they are also very windy. It is difficult to swim there because of strong wind and waves. If you like to be in the middle of nowhere it is definitely a place for you. We liked the animals that were there especially the small dogs and cats that were just super adorable.
