The possibility to use the shared kitchen is also nice, is super fully equipped.

It is a little off the ring road, but en-route to Detifoss, though basicaly in the middle of nowhere. Loved it. The hosts are warm and helpfull, lovely home-made food, great way to learn about the Icelandic way of life, lots of stories. Very friendly and homely.
