Teach Hudí Beag is a fantastic pub, with excellent staff, the most wonderful traditional music sessions on Friday nights and (I think) Monday nights, and Irish the spoken language throughout. Caife Chití just opposite is the perfect place for breakfasts, salads, lunches. Although only there for a short while Bunbeg has all the ingredients of the mystic west. The sunset was spectacular over the beach. Bád Eddie (Eddies boat) on Bunbeg's Magheraclogher beach, in Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore) is a must see. The official story is that the boat was stranded on the beach but we heard from a good source that Eddie did it deliberately. He beached the boat in order to fit a new engine but he was going through a divorce and his wife asked for her share of the boat so he never repaired it.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom

The lodge is a beautiful place to stay with views over the Atlantic and Tory Island. It sums up what peace and tranquillity means . The lodge is of the highest standard , so comfortable with everything you need . We were greeted by the host and on arrival there was wine , crisps , brown bread , butter and milk .
