I only have great things to say. The food they cook is amazing, all the staff is incredibly nice and everything is very clean. They showed a lot of attention to detail and helped us with the transportation and tours. I would recommend this to anyone

We had a wonderful stay. The charming hostess, June, looked after us very well and served us delicious local food. They even bought fruits from the market, especially for us. The arrival and departure were well organized for us as well as a very good tour of the national park.

We enjoyed a lot our stay ! The staff is very friendly and helpful, you can have all your meals there and also the tour. Our guide was exceptional and in one hike we saw all 5 main animals, they have great skills for spotting them and very passionate about the park. The accommodation is in the park area so it's very comfortable just be aware about the monkeys because sometimes they can come to steal the food

We had a fantastic time here! Special thanks to our guide Frankie - thanks to him we saw tarsiers, cuscus and black monkeys. His tour of the park was truly magical - after meeting other tourists with guides, we realized that Frankie was a real hidden gem. And his dolphin tour exceeded all expectations! Frankie is a kind, funny and genuinely passionate person, and we are so glad that we met him. Of course, a special thanks to Rocky and the whole team - we are happy that we were lucky enough to visit you. It was unforgettable!

One of the best experiences of our trip. The staff is really lovely and Sakar is the best guide we could habe wished for going into the jungle with us. The food, the place and the welcoming people made this a really memorable stay.

Highly recommended place to stay. It is actually called Tangkoko guesthouse. The tangkoko safety shop is a place on the beach which serves delicious lunches and dinners and their guides for the jungle trip are the best: Renny and Lea. Tangkoko guesthouse works closely together with Renny 's safety shop. Pacha, the owner, of tangkoko guesthouse is very helpful and friendly. Pacha arranged a 'mobile taxi' for 30.000 rp per person to Bitung area from where you can get a grab or indrive ride to your next destination. The rooms are big, hot shower(!!!), great breakfast with omelet to set you off for your morning jungle trip. Great view from my balcony, room on the first floor, of the part.watching the birds flying. Good WiFi.

What a gem! We’ve traveled a lot, and this place has probably the most curated and naturally beautiful beach we’ve ever visited. The service is at a really high level, the staff is extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Everything is perfectly curated, and we were spoiled from the moment we stepped in. Snacks are served morning and afternoon, and we had to tell them to stop brining us (delicious) food. Main meals are fresh, locally sourced, and delicious. The manager, Toki, is highly experienced, and even took us strolling around and exploring the nearby area. He joined us several times at the table, and at the end, we felt we were part of their family. Thank you Toki, Micheal and all staff. Leaving this hidden paradise was extremely sad. We will return for sure!

Newly built bungalow - very big and super clean. Lovely family - delicious food (great for vegetarians also). Julian is an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide - hiking is great with him too. From the cottages it is about a 25 min (easy) walk to the village/beach. If not in walking mood, you will get a ride (motorbike/car). The family also arranges transfer to/from Tangkoko - very easy communication and great support.

We spent four nights in this great lodge. It is perfectly situated if you want to visit Tangkoko National park, which we did. The place is clean and the food is quite nice. The tenants are very welcoming and always keen to help. They also know a lot about the wildlife around the lodge so don’t hesitate to ask.

Tangkoko Ranger Homestay offers accommodation in Bitung. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. You will find dry cleaning services at the property.

The staff and the host were so kind and thoughtful. They were very accommodating to the diverse needs of the guests. There was a 1 year old's birthday next door, and it was the most intense 1 year old birthday I've ever seen. (The celebration was not for the baby) They had these huge speakers that you could hear from over 3 km away, and would shake the buildings. But the host gave us ear plugs ahead of time and warned us about it. And with the ear plugs I slept great. Did the morning and then the evening walks which were nice and then after I couldn't get a grab back to Bitung, they coordinated a motorbike driver for me to get back. They really know what they are doing and everything was fair and nice. I enjoyed my time in Tangkoko thank you!
