Stayed a week at Seagate and had the most wonderful time. Yuyun and Borja are absolutely amazing host, they are always making sure that I’m comfortable and I have everything that I need. The room is clean, there is hot shower and aircon that works well. Yuyun is also an amazing cook and makes the most delicious chilli, do give it a try if you can take the heat.

The service was incredible, especially thanks to Sandy, a very cheerful guy who made sure everything we needed was taken care of. The hotel's setup was just right for a relaxing vacation, and my room had the most incredible ocean view. Santi and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The Bungalow was in a great location, clean, and had a great balcony to relax on. The restaurant Olalas right next door had awesome food plus had a great view of the water. There are plenty of scuba diving places in close walking distance. Robbie also has scooters to rent. Amazing stay at Olala Bungalow in Pulau Weh! Eka will give you a warm welcome and organise everything for you (driver to and from the ferry, motorbike, etc.). The sea view from the room and restaurant is simply incredible! I recommend this hotel

Very comfortable property, great value for money. Great views, flowers and plants, bungalows are positioned on the side of a cliff, so a few stairs which the elderly or less mobile people might find difficult.

The bungalows are located right on a private beach shared by 2-3 other accommodations. The view from the room and porch are just lovely. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was nice and clean, and the location is probably the most peaceful on the island. There’s no hot water to shower but we already knew this, and given how hot and humid it can get, we didn’t ever need it either. We booked 2 nights, extended for 3 more and if we had more time, we would’ve stayed much longer. To be honest, the photos don’t do justice to how beautiful the place actually is. And last but certainly not least, the host and his wife are kind and friendly people. We learnt a lot about the island, Aceh, Achinese people and a few other interesting things from the host. We hope to be back someday and spend at least a month in this tropical paradise.

Snorkeling right in front of the hotel is great. Do bring your sea shoes as there are stones at the beginning. Meal options at the restaurant that even our picky kids could eat. Helpful staff to organize transfers, activities, etc. Good water pressure and hot water in the bathroom (we stayed in an airco room across the road). The room is basic, but it is well organized.
