The villas are very beautiful and comfortable. They have everything you could need and are spotlessly clean. The pool is wonderful. All the staff are lovely people, always smiling and ready to help with anything. Ricky in particular is doing an excellent job. He’s such a kind guy, always making sure everything is perfect and that we feel comfortable. He helped us with absolutely everything (scooter rental, tips on places to visit nearby, taxi to the airport, etc.). We’re very grateful to have met him. We extended our stay for two more days to enjoy everything the hotel has to offer :)

The Lodge is an authentic eco experience in Flores. So be aware of it before booking that you will not find all commodities like in an hotel. The place is really peaceful and you feel completely connected with nature. I experienced a deep sleep with the smell and sound of the nature. Choose this if you want a real taste of local traditions and sustainability approach to the island. The welcoming was simply amazing. My recommendation: DO NOT MISS THE FOOD. Dinner is the best Indonesian food I ever tried. People think is overpriced 150 IDR but it takes hours to cook in that amazing kitchen with wood. Time and love is transmitted into the delicious food. The feminine energy of the food ritual it is an experience into the experience .

We all love our villa with private pool! Everything was exceptional starting from the staff, the nature and the Villa itself! The location is a bit far if you consider day trips to Labuan bajo and day trips to Komodo Island but totally worth it! I wished to stay one more day just to enjoy our villa and the surrounding village Mbeliling!

Amazing stay and fantastic experience. What an absolute delight it was to stay at room Kalimatan. The house is owned by Laurent- the property is newly built, finished to an excellent standard and interesting design that creates a great space that fully integrates with the countryside. All this within easy reach of the more busy and touristic town of Labuan Bajo. We chose to stay here after a 1,200 KM trip around the island and before heading back to Labuan Bajo and we are so pleased that we did. There is a true saying in Flores and that is that guests are welcomed with open arms and treated like the people’s family. That’s a true description of the hospitality that we received, that went well beyond our expectations. Our room was spacious and the view from the terrace was spectacular particularly at sunset. The bed was so comfortable, we slept with the doors open, there was no need for the mosquito net provided and we enjoyed the gentle breeze and fresh air. The property is rural and consequently there is limited choice of restaurants within easy reach, but this is not by any means a problem. On our first nights stay Laurent cooked us a delicious pasta meal and on the second night we were treated to a BBQ of fish and rice cooked and prepared by Damas. Furthermore Damas welcomed us to a special night of local music played with his hand made guitar which is a night we will long remember.

Amazing location in the middle of the jungle. Quiet, peacefull and beautifull. We highly recommend this villa. You feel at one with nature. Laurent is a great host, and Lydia is so sweet and makes amazing breakfast.

I was drawn to this property by the reviews on how welcoming the family was and the great experience visitors had. I was looking for a comfortable property with excellent value and interesting and kind people. I found all this and more. The owners were amazing at communicating and helping me to find a tour that would suit me. I visited Komodo Island and had an amazing day. The owners are genuinely interested in all their guests and incredibly kind with great ideas and suggestions. I was blown away. My room was wonderful with a leafy outlook. The garden beautiful and the breakfast and tea and home ground coffee was perfect. I have already recommended it to other travellers. Thank you for creating such a memorable visit.

It was so special because of the paintings all around! Only can recommend. It takes about 15 mins to get to Labuan Bajo on bike what you can rent from the owner. To get there only cost 50k with local taxi. It’s easy to visit waterfalls from here. We also had a chance to have a painting session with Matheus. Ask for it if you feel creative :)
