    Troulos is about 20 minutes on the bus from the town.

    Troulos is about 20 minutes on the bus from the town. It has some nice restaurants nearby and a pleasant beach. We would recommend Infinity Blue restaurant which beautiful views and good food. It’s at bus stop 16. It’s a reliable and frequent bus service that allows you to get around the area cheaply.

    Loved Troulos, quiet but plenty of taverns within walking distance, nearby supermarkets, lovely beach within walking distance. Close to bus- stops at all the beaches along coast, nothing not to love!! Can’t wait to return!!

    There are lots of nice bars and tavernas in the resort and easy access to Skiathos Town via a very easy to use bus service. The bus can also take you to Koukounaries beach where there is a water sports centre though it is also possible to walk there!

    Recommendations for visitors, rent a car so that you can visit this beautiful Greek island. With a car, you can easily get to the beautiful beaches in the north like Mandraki and others. The sea is clear blue and you feel like you're almost alone on the beach.

    Plenty of choice of restaurants, hotels with pools which you can use. Nearby bus stops. Flat for walking. Nice beach with tavernas but sunbeds difficult to obtain I would imagine you would have to get up and on the beach by at least 8 in the morning to secure one.

    It was our first trip to Skiathos and the Hotel Almira. Unfortunately we were there when we had the terrible floods and actually only had a couple of days to enjoy the sun. The hotel was fabulous, could not do enough for their guests and kept us fed and watered during this terrible time. Our safety was paramount. I have given 10/10, not for the weather of course but the hotel is fabulous and all the staff are amazing. The oregano restaurant is also an excellent restaurant, food and service are exceptional. Thank you

    Location is great close to the beach and bus stop. The hotel garden is green, well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet at night. The room was clean and cleaned properly while we was there.The room on the second floor have a galery and its enough for 4 persons. Overall its worth the money we payed.

    Lovely little hotel, nice areas to sit around the pool. Short walk, 15 mins, to the beach which had beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Staff very welcoming. Really good value. Thanks!
