We found on Tinos autenthic Greece island, very nice villages with squares, restaurant , greenery, very good food, nice sandy beaches. I went to Tinos on my own to do a Greek language course. Found people friendly and willing to speak to me when I attempted to speak in Greek! Plenty of places to eat, and a nice place to wander around. The church was worth trekking up the hill to. Tinos is a beautiful place to visit! I love the vibe here. There is a peace and tranquility to the town. Visitors and residence walk and dine casually together, watch the boats come and go, enjoy the beautiful weather and scenic views. The food is fabulous. It is a wonderful place to chill. Getting to Tinos was a breeze. The Ten Euro SeaJet from Mykonos only took about 20 minutes. It was an easy walk to my hotel (Nama Boutique Hotel), which is absolutely excellent! There are plenty of scooters / cars to rent, if needed, but you can have a great experience just walking around. I love it here!Guest review byDolphUnited States - 10.0

Preserved island is perfect for hiking with well-marked trails through all the villages. Maintained Venetian influence in architecture and alley ways through ancient villages. While distances between great swimming spots, quaint villages, and the Island's center Chora are short, former donkey paths result in narrow, winding roads and longer rides than expected. A wonderfully run family business, with the owner who was a lovely gentleman. His daughter and son ensured that nothing was too much trouble and catered for our every need. It was perfectly located 10 minutes walk from Tinos town. The apartments were immaculately set out and finished to a high standard and a credit to the owners. Marika was an exceptional host who provided a comprehensive overview of the island and the must visit attractions in Tinos, so good that she made it up for the lack of a dedicated tourist office on the island. The apartments were clean and neat, equipped with a kitchen and a balcony. The room was comfortable. Below are some pictures of Alex Studios I took the morning I checked out.
