We booked this place last minute. Same day arrival. 4 night stay. This place has direct access to the beach. They reserve their own sunbeds for you. No extra charge. They have food 11:00-23:00 all day. Breakfast is brought to your suite. This place stands out above other hotels in the Thassos area. Wake up, go to the beach, swim, rince off the sand, order your lunch, take a shower and by the time your’re dressed your lunch is waiting for you on your table. Everything about this place is so convenient. And to top it off the food is delicious too! The staff are exceptional, and the cleanliness must be mentioned explicitly. This place is expensive and worth every euro! This place poses 1 major issue: do I tell the world in this review or not? Availability will be even more scarce. Book this place if you can.

Hotel Sylvia is in a wonderful position, in a garden of olive trees between mountains and a stone/sandy beach. It is quiet and during the night it is possible to hear the sound of the waves (depending on the room position). The rooms are simple, clean, with fridge, A/C (never used at the end of August), mosquito net, possibly a balcon with small table and chairs, daily cleaning and change of towels and sheets every 3 days. It is possible to have breakfast, salted and sweet, with fresh season fruit, homemade cakes, Greek yogurt, eggs/omelettes, feta cheese, toasts, olives (original from Thassos) and whatever one might wish. There is a swimming pool with sunbeds, and sunbeds are also in the garden a few meters far away from the beach. There's a large common terrace and a lot of common places where to sit, read, relax, and chat. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly, I'd say familiar, with Yianna and Giorgios providing everything from the beginning to the end of the stay. I personally appreciated the sunrises from my window, the sound of the sea, the garden, the silence, the general atmosphere, the chats with Yianna and Giorgios, the Yianna's apple- and plum-cakes (wow!).

Dear Hotel Management, We recently stayed at your hotel for holiday and entertainment purposes. I would like to thank you for the cleanliness of your hotel, the friendliness of the staff, the facilities at the hotel, the ease of transportation and the excellence of the food. Your hotel was very clean and well maintained. Our rooms were cleaned every day and our sheets and towels were changed every day. Our bathrooms were also very clean and hygienic. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They responded immediately to all our questions and requests. Especially the staff at the reception were very caring and helpful. The amenities at your hotel were diverse. There was a pool, beach, restaurant, bar and much more. All places were very clean and well maintained. Food at the hotel was delicious. Everything was absolutely amazing. Super clean rooms, comfortable beds, new installations, spacious balconies, big and clean pool, free WiFi very fast speeds and long coverage even at the pool side.the owner is a very kind and helpful person. We had a fantastic stay from every perspective and we highly recommend this place. I really can't find anything negative to mention.
