The location is right on the beach with property having its own sun beds. Hosts (or better say parents of hosts) were amazing people demonstrating real Greek hospitality, making us feel like a family. Really we had an unforgettable stay at this place.

The location was fantastic. Close enough for short drive to get to the nearest big grocery store yet outside the hustle and bustle of heraklion. Ocean view, only small walk to small cozy beach of mades. The villa was beautifull, new and had everything we needed. The host was amazing and very helpfull with any questions we had.

I’ve never had such a perfectly equipped apartment. You’ll lack of nothing. It’s very spacious and you have AC in every room. After a few days we really felt like it’s our home. We arrived very late, so it was such a nice gesture to find water and fresh fruit in the fridge. The view is so nice to wake up to, too. You will need approx. 5 min. to walk to the beach where you can find Kostas who makes sure the beach is kept clean. You will also find two places to get coffee and snacks there. However, you have to adapt to the slope leading to and from the house. A powerful engine in your car is helpful. Above all, the high-quality equipment and cleanliness made the stay super pleasant. The owner answers super quickly if you have any questions.

This was by far the best hotel experience that I've ever had! Already at the welcoming they were so kind to us and gave us Prosecco. The staff was extremely helpful with carrying the luggage and providing us with information about the Restaurants/Shops around the Hotel. The beds were very comfortable and it was an elegant room. The beach bar, the pools, everything was amazing and also very clean. The absolute Highlight was the Restaurant staff. Me and my mom have several allergies and the staff went trough the whole buffet every morning and evening with us to make sure nothing is contaminated. They also cooked special gluten free delicious food for me. A big thank you to the Restaurant for being so kind and warm-hearted!!! I will never forget this vacation and would love to come back again!

It’s truly heavenly, had the best time. The setting is incredible, uninterrupted views, perfect weather and a lovely mix of private terraces and intimate communal areas. The rooms are architecturaly designed, with quality fixtures and fittings. It’s also a very sensory from the french linens, Belgium pool furniture, Olive scented skincare and the stone flooring on your feet is very grounding. Hosts Olivier + Giannis, go up and beyond to provide personalised service. Olivier was often seen engaging with guests while Giannis is cooking up incredible cuisine from local farms. Everyday the menus changes, but the food is always incredible. They grow their own olives, press their own oil, serve honey from a local family farm, make their own preserves.     The apartment was big enough, the beds soft, terrace was very good, sea view good. Swimming in the sea was pleasurable. The parking place below the terrace was sometimes noisy. The owner Maro was very helpful, she organized free transport to the restaurant every day, This restaurant Spiros Soula was very good but far from the apartment.

    Lygaria is very picturesque and relatively quiet.

    Lygaria is very picturesque and relatively quiet. The sea is clear and great for a bit of snorkelling (there is also a SCUBA diving organisation if something more adventurous sought); although the waterline is a bit rocky beneath the surf, but only a minor inconvenience getting in and out of the sea. The restaurants and cafes are fine, with something for most diets, all fresh and at decent prices. Everyone we met was friendly and I'd go back again (if that didn't require enduring the tortures of powered flight).

    It’s perfect if you stay at a house or villa for a relaxing...

    It’s perfect if you stay at a house or villa for a relaxing vacation. To explore the surrounding area you need a car though. There’s only one supermarket, which has a little bit of everything but if you want more fresh groceries, you need to drive to Agia Pelagia. The beach is cute, the water amazing and clear. In high season and on weekends it can get pretty crowded.

    The host was very kind and helpful and when we arrived we found some water in the fridge. The sea view from the balcony was amazing, we loved sitting at the little table. We really appreciated the comfort of the coffee maker and the electric kettle. Many beaches nearby, we really suggest Lygaria, quiet beach with some cute tavernas (just 3 min by car).

    The room is small (for max. 2 people), but has everything you need including a small kitchen. It is right in front of Lygaria beach. Great sea view from the window and there is a big terrace in front of the apartment door as well. The food is also very good in Anatoli Lygaria Taverna downstairs, to which this apartment actually belongs.
