Our stay at Moncasa was incredible from start to finish.
Our stay at Moncasa was incredible from start to finish. On arrival, we were welcomed by both Kostas and Katerina, who had filled our fridge with fresh fruits from their garden, as well as a selection of traditional Greek treats that we found on the kitchen table. After showing us around the apartment, they said their goodbyes and left us to enjoy the fantastic views from the veranda, but not before letting us know that we were very welcome to help ourselves to any fruit & veg that are growing downstairs in their garden! Instantly we were made to feel right at home, which played a big part as to why our stay at Moncasa was so perfect. The following day we joined the hosts in the garden where we all chatted and ate fruits from the trees. We also asked for recommendations for a local restaurant. Katerina recommended ‘Mezzo’ which was fantastic. Katerina even gave us some of her delicious Greek food to try one afternoon (stuffed peppers & aubergines). The hospitality was absolutely incredible, and the home itself was breathtaking.
