A quiet area, but the beach close by is not the best (still ok if you wanna just refresh a bit) and you need the car if you want to see and explore more (even in the surroundings). There are buses, though, to move to/from major points of interest. The location I chose (Kri-Kri Village) was perfect and I had the best time! We loved Astra Sea Front!
We loved Astra Sea Front! We didn’t care that the kitchen was dated or had no dishwasher or microwave. The air conditioning was perfect. We used the patio a lot, and the view of the sea and its closeness was fabulous. The recommended restaurants by Yiannis were excellent. There are no bad tavernas in the area….. we would definitely come back and recommend the property to others with no complaints. It is easy to rent a car in town. Amazing place, peacefull and calm, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, warm sea, delicious food ( we enjoed sea food in Kontra Flokos tavern, great place!) and relaxing atmosphrere! Staing in Anthoula Sunrise apartments was great and very comfortable! The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable. There are a few restaurants within a few minutes walking distance which sell nice food. The beach is only a few minutes walk away too. There was a lot of choice at breakfast time and this was alternated each day so there was always a different choice. The pool area is also very clean and tidy.
