Good location.Wasn’t sure on arrival as entrance was round the back where there were several bins.Parking space if needed.Once inside it was lovely. Clean,comfortable,warm ,and plenty of room.Host was very helpful over the phone. Will certainly go back.👍

Location was perfect, we were able to walk to grocery store within 20 minutes and it was a nice walk. The room was quaint, confortable and had a nice view of the sea! We were very happy here for our one night stay!

Very tidy new home, attention to detail & branded extras very good. Comfy beds and plenty of room for us two, but would work well for a bigger family. Lots of storage & wardrobe space which made wife happy. Weather was not great for beach, a short walk away, so we made use of the onsite facilities - pool & evening meal as we only stayed for one night. The onsite pass is better value for longer stays, and there is an onsite shop for fresh provisions where we got our breakfast stuff from. Kitchen in accommodation compact but good enough for basic cooking. Parking next to accommodation is a bonus, other units had to use car park.

    Not somewhere I will rush back to, other than the seafront it felt very tired, it has seen better days, I would recommend that you keep going until your reach Tynemouth which has a much nicer feel to it.

    The sea front's really nice, lovely walk to the lighthouse and down to Tynemouth and North Shields. The town centre's OK, quite small, but good transport via bus and metro to get around the area.

    Whitley bay was clean ,no rubbish on streets.

    Whitley bay was clean ,no rubbish on streets. Everyone was friendly. The boardwalk was busy with dog walkers,runners and cyclists. The beach is large and clean. Plenty of places to eat at good prices. Spanish city is worth the visit. Definitely would recommend a visit and will go back .

    Lovely stretch of sandy beach with interesting geology, plus plenty of nearby venues, Easy walk to St Mary's Lighthouse. Old Hartley Bay with amazing geology, and Seaton Sluice (fascinating, good pubs) nearby.

    Great place; wonderful local coastline: beaches, rocks, harbour etc. All very well kept too (well-done The Council) Parking charges reasonable. Cannot see why people rave about tatty dumps like Brighton with pebbly beaches and scruffy streets and anti-motorist stance. We were fortunate to have lots of sunshine!

    I love Whitley Bay, my family live there and I have been many times. The locals are always friendly and helpful. There are great places to eat and Cullercoats and Tynemouth are in walking distance. The Metro and bus service are excellent.

    Have recently returned from a two day stay at Dune's Hotel. The Hotel is situated in a very convenient position for all the local amenities - shops, restaurants, sea front and the Metro Station - which was brilliant for us as my husband was attending the Rugby League World Cup in Newcastle! Very large room with lovely comfortable, large double bed and a great large screen TV! Everything was very clean. The owner and staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. We will definitely stay again when next in the area.

    Great location, close to sea front and 5 mins from the metro station. The metro takes you across Tyne and Wear and into Newcastle. I know the area and it is quite run down but some new properties being built and the area being revamped etc so don’t let the first impressions of the street put you off. Stayed in Room 1. Basic kitchen equipment, microwave and kettle. Local coffee was a really nice touch. Easy to check in with codes which are emailed. Fast responses to messaging in app.

    Communication with the owner was faultless. It was an effortless check in to a caravan that had everything we needed and more, clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. It is near the facilities which made it even better. Being dog friendly too is a rarity! Absolutely 5 star rating for everything. Thank you so much.

    The breakfasts were excellent, as the reviews promised. Location was very good too, walking distance to cafés, bars restaurants and the beach. We also thought the hotel was very well decorated. The owners were very helpful particularly as parking was at a premium at the hotel.
