Weymouth has been in our hearts for many years. This recent visit however has shown that it has become quite run down through out the town . Beach still amazing 50p to use the toilet is awful. £9 to park for day extortionate

Lovey beach. Interesting harbour area. Variety of restaurants. Lots to see and do I the area even for those with mobility issues. Particularly liked the Water Garden. Had a Monet bridge and lovely cafe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Little train around Town Centre was great for sight seeing.

We have visited Weymouth many times over the years - it is a wonderful seaside town with many fine facilities. The beach is second to none, and the sea is clean and shallow. For families with children it is a great choice, but then it's a great choice for people of all ages.

Visit for a weekend and stay on the peninsula over the bridge for the old fishing village charm. Around the old harbour good evening hang outs. Walk to Nothe castle and admire the old town winding alleys. If you go when the weather is fine you will enjoy clear sea water swimming. The main town shopping area typical of seaside towns, a bit run down. If you enjoy golfing Lodmoor park. Good for a family weekend or a romantic weekend. If you are looking for action, take your cycles with you.

A good centre for either a beach holiday or for visiting the surrounding area. There is plenty of historical interest in the town particularly if you are interested in railways. The surrounding area provides good walking of the coastal path and the Downs. The Isle of Portland is particularly interesting, but visit more than just the lighthouse!

My stay at the Jubilee Hotel was one of my best trips I’ve been on. The front door to the seaside meant that I could be on the beach in less time than it took the kettle to boil! The situation is perfect. Easy walk to the town offering everything you could need. The breakfast was superb and the freshly cooked buffet set my day up beautifully. Everybody working at the hotel was very friendly and made my stay even more delightful. I am looking forward very much to my next visit. So much more of Weymouth and the surrounding area to enjoy!

Beautiful exterior. One of the most impressive buildings in Weymouth. It is a proper large scale hotel with night porter etc which I found reassuring being a single traveller. My single room was a good size with a really large bathroom. Much better than average single room in Weymouth. Super breakfast of poached eggs and smoked salmon.
