The worst experience of my 40 years travelling life.

The worst experience of my 40 years travelling life. My room door which opens to the outside world had several vertical cracks that let in both the outside cold air and light. The key to the door was the 100 year old key hole that also let in drafty cold air and light. The water radiator had no controls on it. they were removed. The provided pillow was a couch pillow, not a sleeping pillow, big/fat and round with no give. The room was a shoe box 3 meters by 3 meters for which I paid over $260 per night. The bathroom was smaller than an outhouse. I could go on. the only positive is that it is 5 min walk from Twickenham rugby ground. Not worth it.

    Very poor.

Very poor. Getting ripped off for car parking charge when staying at the hotel is extremely poor. We arrived in the dark, our first visit. We asked where to park and we thought we had followed instructions. Only to be fined £60 for parking in the wrong place. We will never stay here again

Twckenham is very well connected to Richmond, where you can easily get to central London. It's also a very quiet and cosy village. You can have a pleasant walk and reach the river Thames in 15 minutes. There are many restaurants and shops. People were always read to help and give directions to tourists.

I went to Twickenham Stadium for the NSPPD conference, even though Twickenham is not the area I visited in UK. I will definitely visit the area again. As the place is very interesting and I just want more of it.

Twickenham as a visitor is really all about rugby, in my view and the real reason to stay/ visit. However it is't far from Hampton Court which is a good visit and trips on the Thames. I'm not thrilled, however, about the parking which is remote from the hotel and seems not to have any security provision, which worried me whilst staying there. Some security guard/ CCTV access code arrangement would improve that aspect.

The Property and facilities were all as described and in first class condition. All communications with the owners were dealt with swiftly and with consideration. The property is a 25min walk from Twickenham stadium...ideal for the rugby! There are plenty of Pubs and eataries in the local area...in all the whole experiance was 10/10! Only one small problem......England lost to Australia!

Breakfast was lovely, but it wasn't clear that it is not included in the price. Luckily we found the lady who cooks the breakfast, who agreed to cook for us. Was worth the extra money. Room was at the top of two sets of winding stairs - good sized room. Great location for Twickenham Stoop / Twickenham stadium. Lovely quirky old pub, with loads of space outside.

We booked this hotel because it is virtually in the stadium and I have a hip injury meaning I can't walk miles. The location is amazing, and I liked that we came back from the game to find a rugby ball in our room. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Bed was comfy and rooms had everything you would need, including a bath.

It was very close to Twickenham Stadium, there were thoughtful extras like water bottles, a small fridge and a fan.
