Skipton exceeded our expectations.
Skipton exceeded our expectations. We were only there for the weekend for a celebration of a wedding. We got a day to explore. So much on offer! Canal boat trips, walks, castle local market on in the High Street. Lots of winding alleys to sweet independent shops and bakeries. More bars and pubs and cafes than I've seen anywhere! Beautiful Town Hall with a fantastic little museum that was great for kids too, with lots of interesting hands on experiences. I highly recomend a visit. Great 'Makers Market' going on too in the hall. A super base to see the Dale's and surrounding area.Guest review byTownsend - 10.0

The food was excellent and we really appreciated the birthday card and balloons in the room. A high percentage of staff seemed to genuinely enjoy working there namely the girl on reception, the jolly lady in the restaurant, and a room service lady. The hotel is set in a fantastic location to walk into Skipton centre, literally a few minutes. Also set beside the canal which was lovely. The rooms were very comfortable and clean.
