I originally booked a courtyard room but decided to upgrade to a sea view room, we got one on the 2nd floor. We were greeted by the reception staff who told us about a few things like where the restaurant was. On entering our room I was very surprised by the size, it had double aspect windows one to a courtyard the other to a panoramic view of Douglas bay. The room itself was of superior quality, mood lighting to bedroom and bathroom, a sofa in the window, 2 armchairs facing the TV. Complimentary soft drinks, crisps and chocolate in the fridge, even a corkscrew next to the kettle. There was even 2 dressing gowns and slippers in the wardrobe. The breakfast was included as was cereals and continental breakfast and full hot breakfasts. You can also book an evening meal in their restaurant and they have a bar for drinks. Excellent friendly service from all the staff too. Brilliant location also close to shops, bars and restaurants. Will definitely be booking here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Welbeck Hotel gave us an exceptional stay for our Special wedding Anniversary! We had a Beautiful sea view room! , they made us feel very welcome Beautiful food! Great hotel with history. Central location and great breakfast with fruit and fish etc. We also went to the pool and it was nice and clean. Super friendly staff who did not get tired treating us with coffee and biscuits.

Excellent, friendly and helpful staff who went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The provision of bathrobes was a lovely touch. A fridge would have been helpful in our room but not a deal breaker as we didn't stay for too long. Great facilities in the hotel and the room. We would definitely return here over and above other chain hotels.
