A fabulous place to stay. Superb location, 2 minutes across the sand dunes to a clean sandy beach. The rooms are excellently appointed high quality, clean and comfortably furnished (if you have to spend time in the room). Breakfast is included with a fine selection of alternatives for those who like vegetables. Friendly and helpful staff provide excellent service.

The staff were brilliant, friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary biscuits were amazing. I wish they’d had bags of them for sale! The breakfast was also amazing, the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted. The hotel was in an excellent location. A short walk into beautiful Southwold. We would definitely love to stay again.

    I grew up in reydon .

    I grew up in reydon . We took mum to visit as Southwold pier has a plaque for dad on it . easy to walk or drive into Southwold from where we stayed . It was quiet .,not to far from a shop if needed or the Old hall farm for breakfast .The A12 is an easy drive away to assess other places

    With Southwold a 20 minute walk away this is a great...

    With Southwold a 20 minute walk away this is a great location to stay as Southwold accommodation is probably double the price. We only stayed 1 night but wish we could stay longer. Had ample parking and a bonus is the Electric point for my car at the Lytton Tree Lodge. There is also a bus stop a 2 minute walk from where we stayed and the 99 Clipper takes you into Southwold, but on a nice day it is a lovely walk.

    Great location.

    Great location. Good local pub, (a decent pint for the hub and a good NZ sauvignon blanc for me ) 2 mins to walk. Short drive from southwold, 20 min walk if you're fit! Old hall farm nearby does a lovely breakfast and there's a good walk around the a bird reserve complete with hidings. There a dog friendly beach out of season. Had fish and chips form the 'the little fish and chip shop'. They are the best fish and chips and we ate them on the front wrapped up with a sunset to boot. BRILLIANT!

    Good location to stay as a base to visit other places, eg southwold, alderborough. Old hall maze, reydon ancient woodland (beautiful to walk in) an others. Yoxold has a great antiques centre and coffee shop called the ox.

    Quiet village on the approach road to Southwold.

    Quiet village on the approach road to Southwold. Used the local Chinese delivery service which was very busy due to it being a bank holiday and took 2 hours to deliver our meal. Enjoyed the footpath walk to the harbor area of Southwold.

    loved Southwold in general very easy to get around even on foot,we made use of the delivery menus in the welcome folder also had few pub meals Would have been nice to have a kitchen but we managed fine
