Lovely village in perfect location for visiting south Cotswolds and Bath. Used as base for Forest Live at Tetbury with touring area during the days. Particularly loved the cow walking past in the morning back up to the common where the herd roams free.

We absolutely love Minchinhampton especially the common

We absolutely love Minchinhampton especially the common It's a great place to be out in the open with fantastic views. There are so many walks in the area and amazing places to eat. Our favourite time of year is when the cattle are out - so much fun for children. A car is a must have to make the most of this area

    I love that it’s a small quiet town .

I love that it’s a small quiet town . The view of the woods from our cottage’s was absolutely beautiful especially in the evening. It’s a small old , lovely town and everyone was really friendly. Heard the pubs are great, but I am not into that type of thing. We stayed in our cottage mostly, did not experience the town much . Getting around can be a bit difficult if you do not have a car .

We go to Nailsworth about every 3 months to visit our elderly relative. We absolutely love the area. We have stayed in most of the hotels within a 5 mile radius. For us we find the Ragged Cot suits us particularly well as it’s on our way back home. We have not explored very much as we spend most of our time visiting. There is a very nice fish and chip shop in Nailsworth. Nailsworth is a super town ,it even has an oldie worldie. We think you will love it we do.
