I was just staying in Sheene Mill for 1 night in Autumn to visit a friend who lives locally and it was a perfect place to rest. The room I stayed in was spacious and stunning, with exposed beams and beautiful wooden furnishings to give it that classic atmosphere. The staff were both professional and approachable. The hotel itself seems to be a fantastic venue for weddings and other events; it had a bar, big restaurant/kitchen, plenty of seating both inside and outside, and plenty of parking. I loved going outside to the beautiful garden with a river running through it. This setting was extra beautiful at night when all the lights came on! The wildlife was fascinating to watch, too. It's clear that this hotel is very well taken care of and I recommend it highly.

I needed somewhere to sleep for two nights. Anthony and his partner were responsive, helpful, friendly, and unobtrusive. Position was great for the train station and town. There's a good chip shop very nearby, Kelly's Cakes and a small shop and Post Office on Queens Road. And town is barely a 4 minute walk. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and everything worked. Comfortable bed and bright room.

The location was perfect, it was clean and comfortable, we were a family of 4 adults and ther was plenty of room for us all, Laura the host was amazing, she provided plenty of information, and was on hand if we needed anything, would highly recommend this apartment, if you need a place to stay in Royston.     Helpful and friendly receptionist on check in. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. The shower was a good size and the power was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and prompt. Parking was no problem.

    Fantastic hotel set in a beautiful location.

    Fantastic hotel set in a beautiful location. Friendly helpful staff and a great choice of food. As we were celebrating our daughter’s wedding it was a lovely surprise to receive a bottle of complimentary Prosecco from the owner which was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend this hotel

    We chose Meldreth for our accommodation in order to attend a family wedding a few miles away. We chose The British Queen pub as we prefer characterful and quaint locations to stay in. We also enjoyed an evening meal in the same pub. Both dinner and breakfast superb. Overall a very nice village location

    A lovely village, very friendly people and helpful staff Loved the marquee lovey in side as well as out side breakfast not to be missed didn’t have an evening meal there but they looked just as tasty. Would stay there again definitely
