    Lucker was cute.

    Lucker was cute. Feels like the company that owed the cottage owed most of the village but everything was gorgeous and had a lovely feel. It was a great location for days out. We explored new places every day without having to be in the car that long. Was a great place to stay.

    Beautiful location quiet and peaceful with a 10 mins drive...

    Beautiful location quiet and peaceful with a 10 mins drive to Bamburgh. Pub itself beautiful, our room was across the road and was excellent. Breakfasts are amazing with so much choice. Evening meals really good. Drinks we found quite expensive but I do highly recommend the “Coal Drop “ Stout which is as beautiful 🤩 Staff are lovely and so accommodating . Would highly recommend. We visited Seahouses on a number of occasions and highly recommend the Serenity boat trips particularly the Sunset Cruise worth every penny .

    Lucker is a small village with a pretty church, a very nice pub (though busy at times so best to book if you want to eat), & beautiful surrounding countryside. A quiet spot but with very easy access to the coast.

    Lucker was small and consisted of mainly holiday...

    Lucker was small and consisted of mainly holiday accommodation and a residential caravan park (we think) with the Apple Inn seemingly to be the hub. It was quiet and pretty and conveniently positioned for exploring places like Banburgh (4miles), Sea Houses, Craster and Alnwick. You would need a car though. We ate at the Apple Inn, very nice, The Jolly Fisherman at Craster (delicious fish pie!) and the Tree House in Alnwick (quirky and nice food). We did need to book though. There were places that were fully booked mid week!

    Lucker itself seems to consist almost entirely of holiday...

    Lucker itself seems to consist almost entirely of holiday cottages, shepherd huts and other holiday accommodations. Makes it feel oddly soulless, but good location to drive to the coast or inland attractions.

    Very small village, stone cottages.

    Very small village, stone cottages. Very quiet , decent looking pub/restaurant (not tried, we don't drink). Just off A1, about 20 minutes north of Alnwick, and 20 minutes from Bamburgh Castle.
