Really good value for money and lovely food. Breakfast was excellent! Some parts of the hotel were in need of a fresh lick of paint but considering it’s an old building it was very well kept. Our room was very clean however the carpet on the stairways were in need of a Hoover but there was some work going on in one of the rooms which may have been why. The food was very nice and the main lounge was very cosy with a nice fire and decor. The breakfast was lovely and had all you could want. For our purposes the hotel was ideally situated.
