We walked some of Offa and some of the Mortimer trail, I took part in a motorcycle event at Forest Fields and everything clicked together perfectly, Kington was ideally suited and a nice place to visit

Lovely town with interesting, arty shops and a good cafe. Near to many lovely, historic locations such as Pembridge, Presteigne and Rhayader. Enjoyed the salt and pepper chips from the Chinese takeaway.

    Kington is wonderful for walking.

Kington is wonderful for walking. We made use of the Kington Walks booklet where 6 walks are very clearly described and easy to follow. There are beautiful walks in every direction and my dog loved every minute.

There were lots of walks to choose from, extending from 2 miles to 8. The local butcher, Paul Lewis, was excellent. The Swan had a great atmosphere, and the food was excellent. Lots of dog-friendly places. There were some local attractions, but we were there off-season, so they were closed. We look forward to returning and exploring the area further later in the year.

The Thai Kitchen on the High Street has to be one of the best Thai restaurants we've been to! A truly hidden gem, we kept going back. A quick walk through doesn't give a full flavour of this town, which has a lot more to offer than initially meets the eye. The Border Bean café deserves a mention, with a superb range of cakes, food, coffees and other drinks. Hergest Croft Gardens is an absolute must as we accidentally discovered (very nice tearoom there with great food). The local walks are a good starter and further out can be seen as 'exploring'! Take water, it's thirsty work.

Kington is a small market town minutes from open country side ideal for walkers looking for beautiful scenery and is in close proximity to the Welsh Marches and Offa's Dyke. If using your car to explore the surrounding area bear in mind it is rural and some roads can be very narrow and a bit scary for larger vehicles. An ideal starting position to explore other historic towns and properties.

It was a sweet little cottage in Kington. It felt loved and gave love. A little gem in a sweet town on the boarder of England and wales. I’ve never been there before and sadly I was only stopping over to move onto wales the next day. I could’ve happily stayed for the week and I will definitely be back to explore the delights of Kington and to receive the warm welcoming hug market hall provided when you entered. Everything is thought of and available that you might need. The care for you to have a wonderful stay is evident.

Kington Accomodation is a very beautiful place situated in the quiet but stunning town of Kington. Our hosts were super freidnly and we found our way around just fine whilst visiting the Royal Welsh Show. It is the perfect place to stay when walking in the area (an acitivity I can only recommend). My dad and I felt right at home during our 5 day stay and will surely stay again when visiting that area.

Beautiful little 2 bedroom cottage. Perfect for a week away. Very clean. Beautifully laid out with all amenities that we needed. Complimentary homemade (very tasty) cupcakes. Warm. Lovely conservatory to relax in. Hosts were very kind and informative. Location down a little country lane far enough to be very peaceful but a few minutes drive to Kington for pubs, food and fuel station, if needed.

Situated on both the Mortimer Trail and Offas Dyke Path so ideal for walkers. The free use of the leisure club with pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room is a great bonus. Our room was clean and the beds very comfy. Plenty of hot water. Ate in the bar and huge portions of well cooked food. A good choice in Kington
