    It was ideal for us.

It was ideal for us. We knew the area from years ago and the pub. We were roughly equi distant to places we wanted to visit each day, plus the number 40 bus has stops on either side of the road, just up from the pub. Ideal to visit Swanage, Corfe or Wareham where there is limited parking

Wonderful friendly, hard working staff. Beautiful buildings and grounds, all very clean and well kept. Lovely room with stone walls, very tasteful. Lots of seating areas in the grounds and courtyard. Excellent choice at breakfast and everything was delicious. Thank you.

Stayed for 2 nights for a family meet up, had the dinner the first night, expensive but was very good. Place is extremely dog friendly so you will hear the odd bark now and again. Loved the walks surrounding the hotel, it has its own garden a small walk which you can take your dog around in the mornings etc I like the courtyard where you can have a drink or meal, had a mediterranean vibe to it.

    Lovely room, bed very comfortable.

Lovely room, bed very comfortable. Staff friendly, great location, with a bus stop right outside, near several great attractions. Sofa in the room was not comfortable, nor were the chairs in the restaurant. Food was quite good, but expensive for what it was.

    Lovely views and wildlife.

Lovely views and wildlife. Centrally positioned on Purbeck, with easy access to Corfe Castle, Swanage, Kimmeridge, Arne RSPB and Hartland Moor. Countryside was so beautiful and peaceful, bluebells, lambs, swallows, picturesque buildings. There was so much to do:- relax, paint, bird watch, look for fossils, museums, heritage buildings.

Its a beautiful little village quite central to some fabulous walks. While there I walked along a ridgeway down to Kimmeridge bay, and also walked sections of the coast path (the access to it is about a half hour walk straight down from Kingston). It would be very easy to walk to Corfe as well, although both Corfe and Kingston are on the bus route between Wareham and Swanage. There did not appear to be anywhere to buy groceries in the village, but the local pub was great and the beer garden had fabulous views over to Corfe castle.

We stayed here for three nights in a forest view suite. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The quality of the food in the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were all extremely friendly, we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend Kingston County Courtyard.
