Quiet fishing village with a shop, restaurant/takeaway and 3 pubs. Few nice local walks - down the coast to St John's Point and the rope walk down around the harbour in the village. Lovely little historic village in a stunning location on the coast. The village itself is very quiet and there aren't really any restaurant or takeaway facilities, so bear this in mind. But there is a Costcutter where you can buy supplies if you are self catering and Ardglass and Downpatrick are both nearby where you can buy anything else you may need. Tyrella and Murlough beaches are both very nearby and are both excellent and Blue Flag rated. We also spent a very nice evening in the Anne Boal Inn which we would definitely recommend. Friendly welcoming owner and locals and a roaring fire! Just what you need after a day on the beach.Guest review byJoanneUnited Kingdom
