There are very few places to eat at Inverkip. There isn't much here apart from the marina. The general area is very scenic, I would visit this area again but stay in a nearby town. The isle of Bute is very nice. It's easy to get to from Inverkip - by train to Wemyss Bay, and then the ferry port is in the railway station there.

It is a nice little town, sadly had not much time to explore. Beautiful costal area. Nice woodlands, interesting history. Opening hours of restaurants frequantly differ from what can be seen on google.

Really clean and newly decorated with funky interior. Great messaging and support- we were on a cycle trip and able to arrive late and lock our bikes in the garden. Lovely pub around the corner and an easy ride to the ferry in the morning. Highly recommend.

It was a perfect place to stay, so nice and relaxing we wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was amazing, I’m a good eater and love my cooked breakfasts but it nearly beat me, I won in the end, best breakfast ever. Absolutely nothing to not like.
