We loved staying here, the village was beautiful and the pub amazing! Food was outstanding! Our room was fab, absolutely no complaints. The owner and her team could not have been nicer, especially when we thought we might not make it home due to a bad storm. Lovely lovely people and we will defiantly be back to stay and explore the local area more. Thanks for a wonderful weekend

This is an ancient pub in the middle of nowhere (magnificant location for hikers) but within a drive of several small towns. The staff could not have been friendlier, and the food (some from the owner's farm) was superb. We stayed over a second night, and would have stayed a third had it been available. It felt like home, with someone else doing the cooking!

A perfect place to stay while participating on the Coast To Coast. Ideally situated in centre of the village, serving delicious food & drinks. The hotel/pub is under new ownership, so the property has been lovingly restored and the owners are lovely. I definitely recommend!

Been to the Rose And Crown previously, it’s very quirky and the staff are very attentive and helpful. The food was really good and breakfast was lovely. Great walks in the immediate vicinity.

Exceptional property in a lovely location. Stayed in this area many times before, but this was my first stay at the Colman's . Couldn't recommend this B&B enough 👌🏻 outstanding breakfast with plenty of choice, exceptionally clean room with everything you need, and more . I could go on and on ! My only regret was that I didn't say goodbye to a superb host in Clare , as she was busy talking with other guests, and I didn't want to be rude . So thank you Clare for a lovely stay, will definitely be coming back.

    This was just a one night stay in Swaledale.

    This was just a one night stay in Swaledale. The dale is lovely with great walking and views. It's also just a short drive to Reeth and on to Richmond. The pub was lovely and the restaurant did very good food.

    We loved the scenery, the ease to follow the walks, the peace, the views, everything. The weather was perfect so we couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast at our accommodation was superb to set us up for the day! In Hawes the Wensleydale Pantry does great food at a good price.

    Unfortunately the Punchbowl Hotel let us down.

    Unfortunately the Punchbowl Hotel let us down. Stayed just the one night. Black mould in the bathroom. TV reception poor. Feetham is very quiet so if you like tranquillity this is a place to go. Please remember to drive slowly the roads are twisty and narrow.
