Danby village is a 5 min drive/40 min walk away and is easy to get around. There's a local pub serving food though we didn't go there as we generally self catered. We stayed just outside Danby.
We stayed just outside Danby. We visited Danby village which was picture perfect. Surrounded by beautiful countyside quiet, relaxing and good for walking and bike rides. I found this little pub gem on Booking.com as I needed a place to stay the night between Scarborough and Layburn in North Yorkshire. Ideally situated on the route between the two towns. Price was fab as was the whole experience. Bed and room were very comfy, very clean with a great pub varied menu. Staff really helpful and friendly.
