Very little to do compared to nearby Paignton & Torquay. It was picturesque but little to do, especially for kids & overpriced. In hindsight I wish we had stayed in Paignton & visited Brixham instead of staying in Brixham & doing it the other way round.Guest review byAntonyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I love Brixham. I love seafood. I love the harbour.
I love Brixham. I love seafood. I love the harbour. I love the people. But it is difficult to drive round with narrow roads and terrible parking. Having said that, we did park and we did get around. Booking at the popular restaurants is essential. We like sitting in or outside pubs and cafés watching the world go by. Brixham is perfect for that. We loved Breakwater Café, Shoals, Rockfish and Bay Head Hotel plus David's fish and chips. Like the harbour with its numerous bars/restaurants and the boat trip over to Torquay. Listening to the band on a Thursday evening.
