    The Bengal Bear is a lovely place to eat if you want an Indian meal. The staff were courteous, efficient & welcoming and the food was amazing with very generous portions. It is a lovely little village to visit.

    Box is a beautiful and interesting location.

    Box is a beautiful and interesting location. Box Tunnel was designed by Brunel, and in the 1800's was the longest railway tunnel ever constructed. It is still in use. The main part of Box is in a valley, and there are great views as you leave the village and climb uphill towards Westwells. There are lovely walks through woodland and fields just on the edge of the village. Box also has two good cafes and a Post Office/Village shop. There are two pubs just outside the village centre, The Quarryman's Arms has fine views. Wadswick Country Store and cafe are also within a mile or so of the village centre via footpaths.

    Coming home to a comfortable house after a days visiting. The White Hart at Ford, good food. We just loved the surrounding scenery. And just to chill out with a glass or two, no noisy neighbours, yes we loved it.

    The accommodation was compact, of good quality and comfortable the two of us for our two night stay. Ray and Katie were very welcoming. Good choice of cereals, plus bagels, jams and cookies available for breakfast. The accommodation would benefit from a small robe in the lounge area to allow for longer stays. The dining table and stool were not of the same standard/quality as the rest of the accommodation - this is not an issue, just an observation.

    Box is a lovely little village which is very close to Bath.

    Box is a lovely little village which is very close to Bath. There is very little to do in Box, there are a couple of convenience stores I think and a few pubs, but otherwise it is a traditional village. There are plenty of walks to do, including a short walk to the Box tunnel which is nice to see. Bath is just a 20 minute drive away, and Devizes is roughly 30 minutes. Westonbirt, The National Arboretum is probably 40 minutes away and well worth a visit. If you like a quiet place to stay, Box will work well!

    It was comfy, clean, nicely decorated, some thought had gone into dressing it seasonally without going over the top, everything worked, very comfortable. Provision of torches and a wellie shoe horn was very thoughtful. The jacuzzi bath was in good condition and fun. Free jams, biscuits, dishwasher tabs and washing machine tabs were useful and meant we didn't have to go and buy whole boxes.

    We just had a wonderful stay in Box. Great location, peaceful, easy check in and out, comfortable and clean. The accommodation was tastefully decorated, comfortable and cosy. Very well appointed accommodation with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The washing machine was a bonus.
