    We are staying in an apartment for three weeks and loving Vence. The food artisans are great and the bus connections good even the timetable leaves something to be desired. The old town is fascinating.

    The weather wasn't great.

    The weather wasn't great. It rained quite a lot and the temperature was up and down. In fact I got a bad cold. But Vence itself and Vence St Paul are beautiful places. Two Medieval towns very well preserved and a pleasure to explore on foot. Unfortunately, the museum was closed and this was a disappointment for me but I did enjoy my visits to the Matisse Chapel in Vence and the Fondation Maeght in Vence St Paul. Great if you are an art lover as I am.

    Vence is a cute little historical town.

    Vence is a cute little historical town. The old center is small but very nice to walk about. The rest of the city is modern and quiet. Definitely worth a visit and perhaps a night stay. Add it to your itinerary to St. Paul de Vence.

    Situated beautifully with panoramic views towards the Med and Antibes. The house is absolutely lovely with masses of ‘hygge’ as we say in Denmark and it’s welcoming and comfortably decorated with a lovely relaxing ambiance. The pool is fab. Deep and cooling. The views wonderful and the hosts attentive and kind

    Vence is under-rated when compared to its more illustrious...

    Vence is under-rated when compared to its more illustrious neighbours Tourette’s and St Paul de Vence. But it is just as pretty and more interesting in what it offers. The main church is really interesting with its museum upstairs. Good choice of restaurants but book in advance as they get busy!

    Vence is the most fabulous town.

    Vence is the most fabulous town. It’s close proximity to Nice and the beach is a great advantage too. It has a brilliant selection of excellent restaurants of high standard. The overall character of the old town is spectacular. I cannot wait to revisit this amazing town.

    I loved the hotel Miramar. I loved its refreshing, rarely-encountered-now simplicity, the yellow walls and terracotta-coloured simple furniture, and I still remember the "Ah!" when I walked through the door and saw the view, which is even more beautiful from the terrace. It was a lovely room to stay in. The hotel offers a lavish, varied buffet breakfast for 14 euro, very good value. The Miramar is for people who can appreciate this combination of basic comfort and cleanliness with simplicity.

    Fantastic location , walking distance to Vence old town . Beautiful spacious property , clean and well presented. Lovely large outside spaces with excellent sized pool . Well equipped both inside and outside. Very friendly, helpful and organised hosts . Exactly as per photos and description.

    Sandrine was very welcoming and gave us really good instructions about where to park. The room was lovely and the town gorgeous. We were able to visit St Paul le Vence and the amazing musuem with loads of Miro nearby. The town of Vence is lovely and there are many cafes etc.

    Loved the pool, particularly as we stayed during June heatwave. Air conditioning also much appreciated. Host accommodating and everything provided in the comfortable cottage. Proximity to the town of Vence and bus stops was great as we didn’t have a car.

    Great location in the centre of Vence. Close to restaurant the Neo sud just at 1 minute. Just cross the road to the street market twice a week. Close to many shops, artisant, bar the old town of Vence.
