    Close to Avignon, Orange and Chateauneuf du Pape, we didn’t make it to the latter so will have to come back! Sorgues itself is not particularly interesting though (we stayed at the Chateau Gigognan which is outside the town - highly recommend a visit or stay).

    This was more like staying with a friend than in a hotel! Victor is a welcoming, friendly and helpful host and a qualified chef! The accommodation is great and eating a Victor prepared breakfast on the shady patio on a hot summer morning was idyllic. Victor also offers evening meals which he prepares with local ingredients, which are amazing! We have stayed in small boutique hotels before but the level of personal service here exceeds anything else we have experienced previously.

    i thought it might sitting no where , while it is close to a shopping and restaurant area which can give you some other choices than hotel ( even the hotel meal is also great ) Pool is nice , room is big . nothing to be add by just paying 200euro at summer season for a family stay
