We had a wonderful stay in the Val-Vignes - a historic building set in the beautiful village of Saint Hippolyte. The spacious room had all the amenities we wanted and a recently renovated and roomy bathroom. The restaurant was top quality, and there was a sumptuous breakfast buffet. All the staff were excellent, warmly welcoming and very attentive. The church bells don’t ring between 9 at night and 8.30 in the morning and we had a peaceful night. We could not believe how little we paid for such a memorable stay. We look forward to visiting again

Lovely old building in the centre, with lots of character and charm. Rooms spacious (family room) and very clean. Great food in the restaurant downstairs- with the typical Alsace vibe, but also with some diversity. Fantastic service and wonderful staff. The area is so peaceful and beautiful. Will be back for sure!

    Scherwiller is in the middle of the wine region.

    Scherwiller is in the middle of the wine region. You can easily walk to multiple vineyards within the town, or there are plenty of villages within a 10-15 minute drive. Definitely recommend walking to Achille. The main restaurant, La Couronne, is tasty, but do make reservations. The local patisserie is excellent.

    Extremely spacious property that was very comfortable for the 5 of us to stay. Very central in Scherwiller which made it a great place to stay for the wedding we attended nearby. Fantastic bakery a short walk away as well.
