Superb breakfast: huge fresh croissants and variety of breads, bacon, eggs, 3 juices, coffee machine with several choices, fresh fruits, yogurts, milk and non-dairy. Comfy bed, spotless facility and lovely staff. Paid parking. 10 minute walk to tlcity shops and Cathedral.

The hotel is located in the center of Chartres just a short hop from the Cathedral and the City Center. The Staff is very nice and helpful. The make you feel that you matter to them. The room and bath room are very spacious, and equipped with everything necessary. Bedding is comfortable with a good mattress and a large choice of pillows. The buffet breakfast (19 euros) is outstanding with a large variety of food. I had dinner at La Cour restaurant (reserve with time if you want to have dinner at a decent time). I had a soup, a large salad and mineral water for about 30 euros. Everything was rather good. Private parking costs 10 euros a night.

This is lovely hotel in a stunning location near the cathedral. The bedroom was comfortable and well furnished, breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend Hôtel Le Boeuf Couronné to anyone visiting Chartres.
