    We had done no home work and just LOVED Rodez.

    We had done no home work and just LOVED Rodez. We spent all our 4 days in the Old Town walking and looking. We visited the 3 Museums, the park Cathedral and Churches. We are not shoppers but we loitered in the many squares and the Saturday market enjoying the tomatoes and peaches particularly. We relaxed in the warmth of a crazy september ! We found great kindness from the people and enjoyed all our when we ate out.

    Wonderful cathedral & nice to wander round the little...

    Wonderful cathedral & nice to wander round the little streets with great shops. Ate in Le Divan, great food, great selection of beers. Landlord very helpful & friendly. We are not a young couple so didn't like the hilly streets!

    The hotel was perfect breakfast was excellent staff were terrific. We thought we were nearer the cathedral than we were but we got there. We dined up at the cathedral and there was a light and music show going on when we came out which was excellent most enjoyable time in Rodez

    I was very pleasantly surprised with Rodez - I would highly recommend the walking tour details of which are available from the Tourist Information Centre who were very helpful. The river walk was also lovely and the Cathedral a must to visit - along with sitting in the cafe's and watching the world go by! A perfect place to visit!

    The cathedral is magnificent and well worth a visit. The city centre and old part of the city is lovely to stroll around, lots of greenery and flowers. A good choice of cafes at night, lots of young ,diverse, people out and about. The city centre is small enough to walk around and soak up the ambiance.

    Nice little hotel centrally located. Simple 2 star hotel..reception is closed in the afternoon til 3pm. Located just opposite the cathedral with a short 5 min walk to the centre. Plenty of cafes just next door and restaurants in the centre. (I recommend le Colibri). The hotel restaurant was closed during our stay. Room was air conditioned.

    The apartment matched the photos and description: the level of equipment is very good and the interior design is pleasant. The central location is very convenient with public car parks nearby as well as easy access to all the major sights in Rodez whilst still on a quiet street. Remote check-in via a key safe worked fine.

    Apartment was very clean, beautifully furnished, very spacious with large balcony area. Location was excellent to centre of rodez. Hosts were extremely pleasant and friendly. I would highly recommend this apartment to all travellers ... friends, couples or family.

    You get pretty much the same thing at every Ibis. Simple, comfortable, clean rooms. However what is also consistent, and really quite impressive, is the quality of staff. Always friendly, always helpful and kind. Rodez is no exception.
