Beautifully appointed hotel in the sublime Abondance Valley. The room was the key to my enjoyment: in a word, superb. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was first rate and dinner – a gargantuan beef rib grilled in front of us on an open fire, magnificent.

We had a lovely stay here, the owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful. House keeping did our room everyday which is something I was surprised about being only a 3 Star hotel. The location is a little out of the village, so a car is recommended. The hotel is traditional in alpine style, however our room was very spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The pool facilities were a huge bonus. The breakfast is continental as we expected, it was very fresh and a wide variety of options were available.

    Perfect summer holiday destination with the lake a short...

    Perfect summer holiday destination with the lake a short drive away and plenty of walks/hikes in the mountains. Also, a good location in winter as not too far from the slopes. I have been holidaying in Novel for many years and each time I return it just keeps getting better.
