We were 6-7 adults and 2 children 3yrs and 1yrs (cot and high chair provided). We rented both houses which were beautifully presented and fully equipped. The location was perfect for a retreat. Although we had trips out we could see how it would be a ideal place to get away from it all. It was peaceful and nurturing to be surrounded by nature. The 'wild' pool is a lovely concept, great for a dip and swim. We understand this is a new property and the owners have created an artistic and comfortable set of lodgings.

This is a rather quirky hotel but very close to where we finished our walk for the day so we were glad we didn’t have to walk too far to find it. very congenial manager. we arrived during siesta but he was able to show us our room etc. The room had an en suite shower/toilet and a little kitchenette which was really convenient for us as we had camping food to use up so saved on eating out. But we couldn’t resist the ice creams at the local pizza restaurant - Pizzeria Julie just around the corner.

The apartment was quite warm – it was 40°C outside and the air conditioning wasn’t turned on, so the place wasn’t cooled when we arrived. A small air conditioning unit is available, but only in the living room. We had to wait a little while for the check-in, but the host, although he doesn’t speak much English, was kind and everything went smoothly. The apartment is older and would benefit from some renovation and definitely more thorough cleaning. Otherwise, it has a certain charm and it’s fine for one night. A unique feature is that the elevator goes directly into the apartment.

We are grateful to Sandra and Joan for a nice and warm welcome! We admired the house, it is really 10+++! Everything that you could need is available, including very interesting table games and books! The soft towels, nice linen, tea-coffee-cacao- spices-oil, the house is recently renovated, all equipment is new. Nice garden with barbecue, the place is calm and cosy. Supermarket in 1 min walk, children's playground is just behind the house, old town center and museums in 5 min walk.

    We simply loved this property and the owners!

    We simply loved this property and the owners! The house had everything you could ask for for a stay as a couple or small family (we were a family of 4)! We pool was amazing and the views from the pool and terrace were spectacular! Finally, Montbolo is a lovely village and the small restaurant is a delight! Everyone is extremely friendly and it was a joy to visit!
