Central place in a town which is dead on Saturday night. The pub nearby serves great beers and good local meats. The beef tartar from Auvergne cattle was exceptional. Famous cathedral in Mende was unfortunately closed.

Stunning property in a fabulous location. Loved everything about it We parked in Le Mazel covered parking, it was only €3 for overnight stay. It was a 5 minute walk to the apartment

This accommodation is seriously antastic. They have done an excellent renovation to provide a comfortable stay. The views were stunning. The atmosphere and facilities were truly perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay nr Mende. Arnaud was an excellent host with good communication thoughout our booking. Merci Arnaud

    Mende is a charming regional capital.

    Mende is a charming regional capital. There are many places to visit in the wider Lozere area, We visited an outdoor art trail, a Spa and the beautiful Tarn Gorge during our visit and felt that we could spend much longer exploring the wider region. The restaurants and bars in Mende were welcoming and we enjoyed great local beers and produce.

    Mende is well located as a base for traveling around the Cévennes as well as being an interesting and attractive town. The cathedral was worth a visit. There didn’t appear to be many restaurants open in the centre so eating in the hotel seemed the best option. The tourist office were helpful.

    Much more beautiful than I had anticipated.

    Much more beautiful than I had anticipated. The valley is deeper and more narrow which enrapps the town in greenry. Everything is much closer than it looks on the map. Lots of renovations going on. You can walk around the city center in 5 minutes. Too bad Covid had all the shops closed.

    The rooms are beautiful designed and decorated, the staff were warm welcoming and attentive, and the crowning glory in this hotel is the food - fine dining that we were not expecting. Our late arrival led our decision to eat in the hotel, what a happy accident that was, the food is exceptional, exquisite, utterly delicious. Visit especially for the food and you will not be disappointed.

    Central location meant it was easy to explore Mende in the evening as we were only there one evening. The sun on the Cathdral frontage was spectacular.we could cook our own food in the well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Parking was right outside for our motorbike

    A budget hotel but comfortable beds in the room. Shower worked well. It was close to a supermarket and a short walk into the town. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. They were able to accommodate our bicycles in a secure room overnight.
