It’s old and authentic but well renovated and the beds are very comfortable. It’s always my first choice when I come to Lons le saunier. It’s run independently which is nice given that many hotels are chains. It’s easy to park and the station is right opposite so transport either way is easy. It’s quiet and cosy. And the staff are really wonderful: friendly and helpful. It’s very central: five minutes walk from the centre (plenty of restaurants and bars).
