Absolutely fantastic place! It was quite a last minute booking and we were sad we didn't arrive there earlier. The location is wonderful, in the countryside, with horses, old houses and a beautiful swimming pool. Our room "papillon" was big, furnished with style, with mosquito nets, air conditioning (which we didn't need), a big bed, bathroom, table, etc... The owner spoke good Italian and was very friendly. Breakfast was served downstairs and was very good with homemade products. There are a couple of cats and a dog, all very friendly and we love animals :) Everything was simply perfect.

In such a beautiful, peaceful location. Close to the lovely village of Fons. Madeleine at La Halle restaurant is fabulous and the food amazing. Sylvie at La Piale was the perfect host. She was patient with our limited French but we had some lovely conversations. We were here 20 years ago but the property hasn’t changed a bit thankfully. The pool is beautiful and all you can hear are the bees buzzing on the lavender and the cicadas. We loved every minute of our stay. It is one of my very favourite places in the world. After a turbulent few years, I was so very pleased to spend a week here with my family. I hope I shall return soon.

    This is good area to start from to visit all of the wonderful villages in Le Lot. I know the area well after going up there during many years and this is a good spot to be located, quite central. Figeac is close by with its weekly market as well as Gramat in the other direction. Rocamadour is favorite tourist village along with hikes in and around Autoire, Lubressac, St. Cére and many more villages.
