This is not a modern or up to date place but had a charm and was a nice change from a chain hotel. The couple running the hotel were very welcoming and we and our two young children enjoyed the atmosphere and eclectic Christmas decorations and mounted jigsaw puzzles. Very welcoming to us and our two dogs and dinner and breakfast were both home made and delicious. They even chilled our water bottles overnight for us.
