One has to be impressed with the way the owners have taken an old chateau and turned it into a holiday venue. It has all the facilities you need with a great breakfast thrown in. The location of the hotel is ideal - just at the entrance to Givet, with a huge shopping mall nearby, McDonalds, and pharmacy. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable for one night stay. Very nice, clean and comfortable place with more facilities than we even expected (washing machine, 2 coffee machines, toaster, pots...) Restaurants in few minutes walking distance and grocery shop just in the corner. Fast and friendly contact with the owner, if needed. Bar shut fairly early hotel allowed us to buy items after they had closed. We stayed during hot temperatures and the room was very warm.
