The whole package. I felt the hosts attention to detail was top class. I couldnt have asked for any more in an accommodation. Their garden was absolutely magnificent and their attention to the detail their was obvious.

What a lovely stay ! Pam and Glyn were just amazing. They were very accommodating and even left a box of toys in the room for our 3 year-old daughter (she saw the box immediately and loved it). The room is big and lovely and has a terrace. A small bed was installed in the room for our girl and there was also a step (very practical for her to be able to go to the toilet by herself or wash her hands without our help). The house is beautiful, tidy and very quiet and near the beautiful city of Domme. The breakfast is tasty and of quality : you leave the table happy and with a full belly ! Outside the room there's a microwave and a coffee machine and some other equipment you might need but you can ask if you need something. I've frankly never seen so much kindness and thoughtfulness. Our stay was amazing thanks to Pam and Glyn !

The house itself is beautiful, full of interesting objects and respectful of its fascinating history. Bertrand is really the star of the Maison Maleville though; he made us feel like guests in his home. He is very generous and kind, and could not be more helpful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, served outside on the sunny morning, and in his beautiful dining room when the weather wasn’t good. We would not hesitate to stay with Bertrand again - we loved it!

Gorgeous traditional cottage with original features and modern fixtures and fittings. En suite double bedroom full of character, and 3 single beds with a second bathroom on the top floor in the loft. Loved watching the swallows and house martins fly close to the windows. Fantastic location in central Domme, a beautiful old bastide town in the Dordogne. Really friendly owners who live next door. Very clean. Everything you need for self catering. Free parking available with the resident permit (provided) in a number of nearby car parks. Lots to do nearby.

The staff were wonderful especially Eric who supervises everything and for whom nothing is too much trouble. It's convenient that there is a parking garage nearby and staff meet you on the main road to help with luggage and finding the garage. The rooms are charming, very good bed linen.

    We ate at the Pizzeria des Templiers Restaurant and it was excellent. Lovely cooling mist in their nice courtyard. Very friendly staff and delicious pizzas with a thin crispy crust. Tasty desserts too. We also ate at the Esplanade which is a lovely place to sit on a warm summers evening on the terrace. Very helpful staff for choosing the meal and wine to go with it. Also my friend had a problem with certain foods and it was no problem to make changes. They were so helpful. we also ate at the Asian restaurant just outside of Domme. They have just moved there. The meal was delicious and all home made. Not bought in frozen. Domme is great for shopping and all the shop keepers were super friendly.

    The town is nice, but not worth more than one night if that.

    The town is nice, but not worth more than one night if that. Everything closes at 7PM and doesn’t open until 10am. There is only one pizza place open on Wednesday for dinner. I think it would be better to stay outside Domme and come in for a few hours during the day,

    We loved the town, the people & the shops.

    We loved the town, the people & the shops. The ice cream was delicious! The views were spectacular and I would certainly recommend visiting Domme, preferably out of season as it is quite busy even in September. Beautiful market on a Friday! A small car is recommended as streets are narrow. We ate at a nearby cafe & had dinner in a restaurant that offered outside seating & beautiful views.

    Domme was a beautiful town.

    Domme was a beautiful town. Out of season there is little open but you can see what a vibrant town it would be once the tourists arrive. In the few shops that were open everyone was very friendly and gave us tips of what to see and where to visit. There was an amazing book shop that was open. Even out of season it is a lovely town to wander around with one or two bars open for a coffee etc.

    We have spent two hours in this village.

    We have spent two hours in this village. We walked through a few streets, enjoyed the panoramic view over the river, visited the old Romanesque church, checked an antiquarian book shop (where our kids bought some English books), and stopped for pancakes in Gourmandises Café (with nice personnel and tasty food). We liked the atmosphere, which felt simultaneously historic and relaxed. One feels like in a fairy tale in this village. Fortunately, there were not many tourists at the end of October (despite the fall school vacations in France). In particular, one could easily park their car in the village without any difficulty. Then we continued our journey to the Marqueyssac gardens...

    Perfectly decorated 14th century house, amazing hosts, delicious food, great location, dreamy ambiance. We felt as if we were locals living in our own home at Domme. Domme is magical and Les Petits Cousins Du Quebec makes it more magicial, can’t wait to come back! Thank you guys, it was geat to meet you!!!

    Located just outside the town gate - so 2 minute walk into middle of Domme. Room was very large with everything you could need. Pool onsite. Owners couldn't be any friendlier or more helpful, and a generous, tasty breakfast.
