What can we say, from the moment we arrived we felt cared for & at home in Mariane and Jesse's Chatau. The location was secluded, tranquil and breathtakingly beautiful. Mariane went out of her way to make our stay special, our only regret was that we didn't stay long enough, we didn't want to leave. The breakfast spread was delicious and came from the local village. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Jesse who so kindly gave us a lift to and from a wedding we were attending not far from La Rise Du Vent. This was a life saver as we hadn't hired a car. Their 3 cats were absolutely gorgeous, and my husband and I loved having them wander around during our stay for strokes and cuddles. Thank you, and we plan on returning to stay again. This apartment is located within a few minutes walking distance to a supermarket, which was perfect. The owner lives next door and was present on arrival to handover the keys and explain how things worked. He did not speak any English, but we managed to get the gist of most things (out French is very limited). He is a very welcoming and friendly host which helps a lot in this sort of situation. The apartment was very clean & comfortable with a well equipped kitchenette. All in all a very positive experience.
