The location was excellent. It was a really nice stay. Once you book it and the trip comes closer, Laure will sent you a wonderfully detailed pamphlet. All the information was easily obtained from that. If necessary it was very easy to contact the host. We stayed for a short overnight stay this time and did not get to see everything - but consider staying longer a next time just to visit Arras in it's full extent: Laure definitely made us very intrigued in the city!

    Lovely town with a lot of history.

    Lovely town with a lot of history. The tour of the Boves under the tourist information is well worth a visit. We have visited Arras before and never knew they were there! Very friendly people. Parking in the Grand Place is very handy but quite expensive, 20 euros for 24 hrs, but there is also free parking about 10 mins walk away from the centre.

    Lovely, historic buildings around the Grand Square and...

    Lovely, historic buildings around the Grand Square and beyond. Good choice of bars and restaurants. Third visit to Arras and we explored the river and canal, a little further from the town centre. Found a new summer outdoor bar by the canal.

    I imagine most people visit Arras for it's connection to the...

    I imagine most people visit Arras for it's connection to the two world wars and the two beautiful squares. We had a great meal at La Passe Pierre on Place des Heros. The dish I had, a seafood risotto with scallops was top. Easy town to walk around, pretty flat.

    Lovely city with great views from the Belfry above the town hall. The Place des Heros was so attractive and buzzing with people at the outside cafes and restaurants too . The Grand Place was rather commercial, and nothing to write home about. Half to one day (max) was sufficient to see what we wanted. More and better information/publicity about local transport&parking options would have saved us a lot of hassle and walking in hot weather.

    A lovely town, and close by for visitors from south east...

    A lovely town, and close by for visitors from south east England. The authentic Flemish atmosphere is charming. Fast trains to Paris mean it could be used a a base for visits to the capital. First world war battlefields are close by, if you are interested in this, but it is of course very sad.

    The shops are walking distance and there is a chemist very near the hotel which is very useful The parking for the hotel is very handy although the entrance was a bit difficult to find on our first visit

    We have stayed so many times it's like coming home now! This is a very nice studio apartment close to the town on a main road but quiet because it is at the back of the building. Secure parking right by the window behind locked steel gates. Small supermarket next door and Aldi and Lidl a short walk away. This is a great place to stay about an hour from Calais close to the motorways for onward travel through France or a morning trip back across the channel. Arras is a nice little town with a good market on Saturday morning.

    The property is in a great location, central to the main square in Arras and with parking available a 2 min walk away. The layout of the property is very nice and they’ve done a great job of it. It looks exactly like the pictures but the local town is great to. Some fantastic bakeries and restaurants.

    Hotel was comfortable with good secure parking in the centre of Arras which was good for us as we were travelling by motorcycle. Rooms were comfortable and as we were in the centre of the town. Ideally placed for the large central squares.
