A beautiful boutique hotel that has been fully restored by the owner with no expense spared. Everything was amazing from the rooms to the furnishings to the wonderful cuisine. I cannot recommend this hotel and their lovely staff enough, we will definitely return :)

Beautiful establishment in an amazing landscape. Hotel and restaurant were exceptional and the waiters were also very good and friendly with a good sense of humour with the difference in language. Compliments to the chef, we had a great fine dine dinner.

The loft is in a picture postcard setting on a river with views of the church. It is so stylish and gorgeous and Dominique was a great host offering lots of suggestions to enjoy Arbois and the surrounds. It is also next to a fabulous restaurant and bars and everything you need is in walking distance.

Ideal location in the heart of Arbois. Excellent breakfast. Elise, the hotel manager, was very welcoming; she's an ideal host. The grounds were beautiful as well and the wine available for purchase on property was excellent too. We had our 9 year old daughter with us, and while she was the only child at the hotel during the stay, we felt that she was very welcome.

    The city and surrounding area was simply charming.

    The city and surrounding area was simply charming. We were there on market day and that was a real treat. Local shops were friendly and interesting. We visited Louis Pasteur home and had an interesting tour. Our B&B hostess recommended a local restaurant that was wonderful and we had read about a nearby castle/hotel with dining which was also way beyond expectation. Everything was a great value. The town is very walkable.

    Arbois is a pretty little town set among vineyards.

    Arbois is a pretty little town set among vineyards. Its main claim to fame is that it was where Louis Pasteur undertook his first experiments and the house where he lived is open to the public and well worth a visit. There are plenty of restaurants in the town and the Bistronome is one of our favourites. All serve the local wines which are not well known outside the locality and will come as a pleasant surprise.

    A cute town, with plenty of restaurants and cafes. The centre of the Arbois wine area, with a good selection of wine shops if you need to buy Arbois wine. Not many 'sights' in the town, but we used Arbois as a good centre for visiting local areas,like Gorges du Herisson, Besancon, Dole - don't go there on a wet Sunday !!) and other natural sights, all of which were a delight. Our first visit to the Jura. It's beautiful, and at the time of year we visited (September) the weather was good but not too crowded with visitors - I'd imagine, based on the amount of holiday home locations we encountered, that July and August would be very very busy.

    Excellent location, convenient for the motorway. Spacious, easy parking next to the hotel. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The hotel restaurant served the most delicious meal, one of the best we've ever eaten in France. A pleasant 20 min walk to Arbois town centre with the chance to take in the Louis Pasteur museum on the way, then a beer in the brasserie. Wonderful all round - Compliments to all. We shall be back.

    A classic, traditional French hotel, situated close to the town centre. It was clean, with friendly staff. Located next to the centre of Arbois, the staff had excellent suggestions for dinner and the town was a true delight, very French but not overly touristy!
