The cueva is positioned in an astonishing location. You have mountains all around and you can see the ocean from afar. Great Parador for a break on the camino ! The village of Cruz de Tejeda is small, only 2 accommodation options. It is welcoming for all pilgrins. It’s not cheap, but de rooms are good - very clean and spatious. Also the Spa service are great for a relaxing afternoon. 🎟️ Booking in advance is mandatory. You can stamp your credentials there. We absolutely loved our garden view room! The room had a classic interior and all the necessities we needed. Had a lovely walk around the locals neighborhood at night before heading to the restaurant just across the road. Parking was convenient just in front of the hotel on the street. Breakfast had all we needed and really loved that they had foreign interns practicing their waiting skills at the breakfast table. Really lovely work-and-learn environment for those guys :)

The location is excellent, right in the hearth of Gran Canaria, wherefrom all points of major interest are easy to reach. Casa Azul is a charming proprety among the spectacular mountains, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped with everything necessary. Debbie and Carl are the best hosts one could wish for, always smiling, friendly and responsive -and let us not forget the two lovely co-hosts, the doggies Blue and Cassy who greeted us every morning with friendly tail wagging. Actually, Casa Azul is more than just an accommodation: is a home during one`s holiday.

Such a wonderful find, absolutely loved this place, like a little home from home, so cosy with everything you could need, amazing balcony. Would highly recommend this for a couple looking for a remote escape for a few nights. Communication was very easy and once found access was also an easy process.

The apartment was very spacious ,bed very comfy, kitchen large and very well equipped. Host was very kind and let us know that is available to all our queries and recommendations. The rooftop view is absolutely stunning with 360 degree view of the Tejeda and the valley.
