San Augustin feels more residential than the large holiday...
San Augustin feels more residential than the large holiday destinations. It does have some great hotels and we found the most amazing restaurant Cibarivm. Food was lovely and was such a nice experience too. We did not like the shopping centre which felt circa 1970. The journey has been very good, but it has been the first time in my holidays, when I have been harassed by the youngster with the knife and my car has been robbed in the same week. Apart form this everything was very good. More upmarket than Maspalomas, with enough nearby restaurants for a week or so. It only took 15 minutes to walk along the promenade to further restaurants near Maspalomas. Beds were comfortable in both rooms - very important! Blindfolds work well in both bedrooms and really fulfil their purpose, which is to make the room dark. Balcony is spacious and has a great view. Host responds quickly and the communication was very friendly. The location is super. And the noise is not as bad as marked in some of the reviews.
